I am a huge fan of natural, homemade beauty and skincare products, but it’s not often I come across many which are reasonably priced and live up to their promises.
However, I recently discovered a brilliant new product in the form of a natural green clay face mask, sold on eBay by Lytham St Anne’s Soap Workshop.
If you’ve read my previous posts, you may have seen that I have problem skin, so I love to use face masks as regularly as possible. I’ve tried a fair few in my time, especially of the clay variety, but this particular one has to be a new favourite for me.
At £3.99 for 50ml, plus postage, this product was a steal, and price aside, the description is what convinced me to try it:

Oily skin and acne pretty much sums up my main problems!
What also convinced me to give this clay mask a try was the detailed product information listed by the Lytham St Anne’s Soap Workshop. They really tell you a lot about all the benefits of the ingredients (of which there are loads!), and it’s nice to know you’re buying something from a company/ seller who knows their stuff, rather than a faceless corporate giant of the beauty world.
So, to summarise my findings after using this product:
• It left my skin feeling really clean and smooth
• Acne/ problem areas felt drier and as though blocked pores had been drawn out
• It has a slightly rough texture when applying, which acted as gentle exfoliation
• It has a very natural and organic smell, which might not be for everyone, but I really liked
• Gentle and did not cause irritation, (despite a tingly feeling whilst the product dried which is normal with clay masks)
• Large pores looked smaller
